A 76-year-old woman faces murder and assault charges after allegedly shooting her ex-husband and two other people on Monday afternoon in Toombs County, Georgia.
Deputies responded to 188 McNatt Falls Road around 2:19 p.m. following a 911 call reporting three gunshot victims, according to the Toombs County Sheriff’s Office.
Inside the residence, officers discovered 75-year-old Wallace Truman Edge and 40-year-old Pamela Cook dead from gunshot wounds. A third victim, 55-year-old Diane Cook, was treated for a non-life-threatening gunshot injury.
Authorities identified Grace Edge, the former spouse of Wallace Edge, as a primary person of interest shortly after arriving at the scene.
She was arrested and charged with two counts of malice murder, two counts of felony murder and three counts of aggravated assault. She is currently held at the Toombs County Detention Center pending an initial court appearance.

Police have not officially confirmed or commented on whether past domestic disputes or abuse were documented prior to the shooting or may have been a motive.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation’s Region 12 office joined the inquiry at the request of local officials, who said there was no ongoing threat to the public.
“A person of strong interest is currently in custody,” the Sheriff’s Office stated regarding the inquiry. “Further information will be released as the investigation allows.”
