May 7 (UPI) — Only Murders in the Building, Father of the Bride and Saturday Night Live star Martin Short attended the Los Angeles premiere of the Netflix documentary, Marty: Life is Short, Wednesday night.
Among the attendees were Selena Gomez, Kate Hudson, Eugene Levy, Dennis Miller and Billy Crystal.
A trailer for the film shows Tom Hanks declaring Short, 76, “operates at the speed of joy,” while the late Catherine O’Hara noted, “He could improvise to eternity, couldn’t he?”
“Being a dad is as genuine as his breath,” Andrea Martin said of the father of three children, while John Mulaney said simply, “Marty is good at life.”
Directed by Lawrence Kasdan, the documentary is set to debut on May 12.
