Barcelona will host Real Madrid in the first El Clasico of the 2026-27 La Liga season at Spotify Camp Nou on Sunday, October 25. The highly anticipated clash carries significant importance in the title race, with Barcelona looking to strengthen their position at the top while Real Madrid aim to reduce the gap.

Hansi Flick’s Barcelona have made an impressive start to their league campaign, winning their opening nine matches. However, their recent 4-2 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League has raised questions about their defensive organisation.

Real Madrid, meanwhile, will look to exploit those vulnerabilities through their attacking options, including Kylian Mbappe and Jude Bellingham. Barcelona will depend on Lamine Yamal, Raphinha and Pedri to create opportunities and control possession in front of their home supporters.
