Brazil head coach Carlo Ancelotti has announced a 26-member squad for the national team’s final international fixtures of 2026, with the five-time FIFA World Cup winners set to face Japan and Singapore in November.

The squad, announced by the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) on October 29, features a significant infusion of young talent alongside established names such as Vinicius Jr, Raphinha, Bruno Guimaraes and Gabriel Magalhaes.

Both matches will take place at the National Stadium in Singapore, as Ancelotti continues to assess his options and build depth within the Seleção setup.

Brazil’s Upcoming Friendly Schedule

Brazil will play two international friendlies during the November FIFA international window.

The encounter against Japan will be particularly interesting, as the two teams will meet again following their clash at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, where Brazil registered a 2-1 victory.

The fixture against Singapore, meanwhile, will be the first-ever meeting between the senior national teams of the two countries.

Recent Form: Brazil’s Results In 2026

Ancelotti’s team will enter the November international window after a mixed but productive run of performances, including a strong finish to their September friendlies and a convincing victory in Kolkata.

Their most recent international assignments came against Australia and India in September and October, respectively. Brazil played three matches during that period, recording two wins and one draw.

The first meeting with Australia in Townsville ended in a 1-1 draw, with the hosts taking the lead through Nestory Irankunda before Brazil found a late equaliser. The Seleção responded in the second encounter in Brisbane, securing a 4-2 victory.

Brazil then travelled to Kolkata for their historic first senior men’s international meeting with India. Ancelotti’s side registered a comfortable 4-0 victory at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan on October 3.

Chelsea’s Estêvão opened the scoring in the 28th minute before Pedro doubled the advantage just before half-time. Substitute Samuel Lino scored twice after the break, finding the net in the 58th minute and stoppage time. The result completed Brazil’s September-October friendly programme with two victories and a draw.

One of the biggest talking points surrounding the squad is the emphasis on younger players. Ancelotti has included several emerging Brazilian talents, with five players set to receive their first opportunity in the senior national-team setup, according to reports.

The selection also reflects the coach’s intention to expand Brazil’s options ahead of future international competitions.

Vinicius Jr and Raphinha provide attacking experience, while Endrick and Estêvão represent the next generation of Brazilian forwards. Bruno Guimarães is among the key midfield options, while Gabriel Magalhães brings experience and leadership to the defence.

Another notable aspect is the absence of players from Flamengo and Palmeiras. The CBF reportedly took the decision to avoid disrupting the two clubs during the decisive stage of their Brazilian Serie A title battle.
