Aug. 28 (UPI) — South Korean singer Jennie is back with new music.
The K-pop star, a member of the girl group Blackpink, released the solo EP Fallen Angel and a music video for her single of the same name on Friday.
The “Fallen Angel” video creates a dark fantasy world where “human greed has made them grow so heavy.”
The story culminates with Jennie and a young lookalike remaining unburnt in a nest of vines as the building burns down around them.
“Thorns may be the sharpest, fiercest thing on this earth,” the girl says. “And yet, they bloom into the world’s most beautiful roses.”
Fallen Angel also features the tracks “Heaven” and “Less Than a Lover.” The EP is Jennie’s first release since her debut full-length solo album, Ruby, in 2025.
