May 12 (UPI) — White Collar, The Nice Guys and Fellow Travelers actor Matt Bomer has signed up for a recurring role in The Day of the Jackal Season 2.
Peacock announced Bomer’s casting in the series Monday, but did not divulge any details about his character.
“An unrivaled and highly elusive lone assassin, the Jackal, (Eddie Redmayne) makes his living carrying out hits for the highest fee,” a synopsis for the series said.
“But following his latest kill, he meets his match in a tenacious British intelligence officer (Lashana Lynch) who starts to track down the Jackal in a thrilling cat-and-mouse chase across Europe, leaving destruction in its wake.”
Season 1 premiered in 2024.
No debut date for Season 2 his been announced yet.
