March 25 (UPI) — Netflix is giving a glimpse of the new film Apex.
The streaming service shared a trailer for the movie Wednesday featuring Charlize Theron and Taron Egerton.
Apex is a survival action thriller starring Theron as Sasha, a rock climber who finds herself running for her life from Egerton’s character à la The Most Dangerous Game.
“A grieving woman testing her limits in the Australian wilderness is suddenly ensnared in a deadly game with a ruthless predator,” an official description reads.
Apex is written by Jeremy Robbins and directed by Baltasar Kormákur. The film starts streaming April 24 on Netflix.
Theron’s recent credits include Fast X and The Old Guard 2, while Egerton recently starred in Carry-On and She Rides Shotgun.
