June 27 (UPI) — The BET Awards will return Sunday in Los Angeles.
The 26th annual ceremony will take place at Peacock Theater in Los Angeles and air at 8 p.m. ET on BET and other Paramount networks.
Comedian and social media star Druski will host the event. Cardi B is the most-nominated artist and will perform, along with Doechii, Kehlani, Tems, Nas and other stars.
The BET Awards is an annual celebration of notable Black performers and athletes in music, film, TV and sports.

The BET Awards will air Sunday at 8 p.m. ET on BET, BET Her, CMT, Logo, MTV, MTV2, Nickelodeon, Paramount, POP, VH1, Comedy Central and TV Land.
Participants
Druski will host the awards show from Peacock Theater. The comedian and social media star, 35, is the youngest person to host in BET Awards history.
Performers include Alexia Jayy, Ari Lennox, Baby Keem, Cardi B, Common, Doechii, Don Toliver, George Clinton, Kehlani, Nas, Queen Latifah, Raye, Rick Ross, Tems, T.I. and The War and Treaty.
Nominees & honorees
Cardi B leads this year’s nominees with six nominations, including Best Female Hip Hop Artist and Album of the Year for Am I the Drama? Kendrick Lamar and Mariah the Scientist follow with five nominations each, while Doechii, Doja Cat, Clipse, Teyana Taylor, Olivia Dean and Latto are all up for four awards.
Singer and One Battle After Another actress Teyana Taylor will receive the Icon of the Year Award, while singer-songwriter Lauryn Hill will be honored with the Living Legend Icon Award.
