Sept. 10 (UPI) — Tori Kelly takes to the stage in a new episode of NPR’s Tiny Desk series.
The singer-songwriter, 33, performed new songs from her latest album, God Must Really Love Me, during the intimate concert, released Thursday.
Kelly released God Must Really Love Me in June. Her set included the songs “Hurts So Good,” “Without You,” “Fly,” “Bird,” “Control” and “Tokyo.”
In addition, Kelly delivered her cover of Stevie Wonder’s “Don’t You Worry ‘Bout a Thing,” which she first performed as the character Meena in the 2016 animated movie Sing.
The singer was joined by musicians Jordan Waters, Kyla Wright, Lynette Williams and Taylor “The Pocket Queen” Gordon, along with vocalists Chelsea “Peaches” West, RaVaughn Brown and Mariah Bernard.
Kelly is a Grammy-winning singer who came to fame as a hopeful in American Idol Season 9 in 2010. She is best known for her single “Nobody Love,” which appears on her 2015 album, Unbreakable Smile.
