MIAMI, Aug. 31 (UPI) — Joe Burrow and Josh Allen lead my Top 20 fantasy football quarterback rankings for the 2026 NFL season.
Lamar Jackson, Jalen Hurts and Drake Maye are among my other Top 5 quarterback targets. Justin Herbert, Jayden Daniels, Dak Prescott, Jared Goff and Matthew Stafford are my other Top 10 players at the position.

Average draft position (ADP) is one of the most important factors to consider when deciding which quarterback to draft for your fantasy football squad.
Allen is being selected as the first quarterback in most fantasy football drafts ahead of the NFL’s Sept. 9 regular season opener. Burrow has an average draft position in the fourth round, about two rounds after Allen’s typical placement. I am never the first person in my league to draft a quarterback, as that strategy often results in a more shallow roster.
Hurts, Herbert, Goff and Stafford join Burrow as quarterbacks I would target in drafts based on their average draft position, history of production and schedule.
