May 15 (UPI) — The Academy of Country Music Awards will return Sunday in Las Vegas.
The 61st annual ceremony will be held at MGM Grand Garden Arena and stream on Prime Video.
Shania Twain will host the ACM Awards for the first time. Performers will include Ella Langley, the Red Clay Strays, Kacey Musgraves and Lainey Wilson, with Keith Urban, Shaboozey, Ashley McBryde and other stars to present awards.
The Academy of Country Music presents the ACM Awards to honor achievements in country music. Megan Moroney leads this year’s nominees with nine nominations, followed by Miranda Lambert with eight.

The ACM Awards will take place Sunday at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas and stream at 8 p.m. ET on Prime Video. The event will also stream on the Amazon Music Twitch channel and the Amazon Music app.

Nominations
Megan Moroney leads this year’s nominees with nine nominations, including for Entertainer of the Year and Female Artist of the Year.
Miranda Lambert is the second-most nominated artist with eight nominations, followed by Ella Langley and Lainey Wilson with seven nominations each.
The Entertainer of the Year nominees are Megan Moroney, Luke Combs, Jelly Roll, Cody Johnson, Chris Stapleton and Lainey Wilson, while Aint in It for My Health by Zach Top, Cherry Valley by Carter Faith, Don’t Mind If I Do (Deluxe) by Riley Green, I’m the Problem by Morgan Wallen and Parker McCollum by Parker McCollum are up for Album of the Year.
