July 30 (UPI) — Netflix is giving a glimpse of Leanne Season 2.
The streaming service shared a trailer for the season Thursday featuring actress and comedian Leanne Morgan.
Leanne is a sitcom co-created by Morgan, Chuck Lorre and Susan McMartin. Morgan stars as the title character, a woman whose life is turned upside down when her husband of over 30 years (Ryan Stiles) leaves her for another woman.
In Season 2, Leanne navigates possible “divorce remorse,” dating and the challenges of aging parents (Celia Weston, Blake Clark) with the support of her sister, Carol (Kristen Johnson).
Other cast members include Graham Rodgers, Hannah Pilkes, Jayma Mays, Annie Gonzalez, Blake Gibbons and Tim Daly.
Leanne Season 2 premieres Aug. 27 on Netflix.
Morgan’s hit stand-up comedy special I’m Every Woman was released on Netflix in 2023.
