June 29 (UPI) — Teyana Taylor and Clipse were among the big winners at the 2026 BET Awards.
Comedian and social media star Druski hosted the 26th annual ceremony Sunday at Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.
Taylor, a singer and an Oscar-nominated actress for One Battle After Another, won three awards: Best Actress, Video Director of the Year and the Fashion Vanguard Award.
In addition, Janet Jackson presented her with the Icon of the Year Award.
Clipse also took home three awards: Album of the Year for Let God Sort ‘Em Out, Best Group and Best Collaboration for “Chains & Whips” featuring Kendrick Lamar.
Best Male Hip-Hop Artist went to Lamar, his ninth win in the category.
Cardi B won Best Female Hip-Hop Artist, while Kehlani took home Best Female R&B/Pop Artist and Video of the Year for “Folded.”
Other winners included Leon Thomas III (Best Male R&B/Pop Artist), Olivia Dean (Best New Artist), Michael B. Jordan (Best Actor) and his film Sinners (Best Movie).
Singer-songwriter Lauryn Hill was honored with the Living Legend Icon Award, while music executive Sylvia Rhone was awarded Ultimate Icon.
Performers included Hill, Cardi B, Don Toliver, T.I., Kehlani with Jamie Foxx and Annalise Bishop, Tems and Raye.
