Donald Trump rolled out a new chatbot aimed at helping Americans interact with federal agencies and streamlining the processes associated with them on Tuesday.

The president spoke Tuesday morning at an event hosted by Tony Robbins as the service — America.gov — launched to the public.

“It’s going to save you tremendous time,” the president promised.

The tool can be used to direct Americans to services across the federal government in a manner similar to other existing AI chatbots, like the Gemini service integrated into Google’s search functoin. In a video presentation from Robbins and chief design officer Joe Gebbia, the designers teased greater functionalities in the future that did not appear to be available yet, like passport renewal and updating/obtaining other official documents through a one-click system.

“America plans to let you renew a passport right here in 2027. See what’s coming,” the chatbot tells users today, with a link to a promotional video showing those features.
