March 28 (UPI) — Back to the Future and Top Gun actor James Tolkan has died in upstate New York at the age of 94.
The Michigan native and U.S. Navy veteran’s Thursday death was confirmed Friday by a family representative.
His acting career began in 1960 with an episode of The Naked City and spanned until 2015 when he appeared in Bone Tomahawk.
Tolkan’s other credits include Woody Allen’s Love & Death, Warren Beatty’s Dick Tracy, and Sydney Lumet’s Serpico, Prince of the City and Family Business. He also appeared in WarGames and the original Amityville Horror.
