Sept. 17 (UPI) — Thai singer and actress Lisa says each track on her new EP has its own “character” and “vibe.”
Lisa, also a member of the K-pop group Blackpink, teased her upcoming solo EP, Press Play, during Thursday’s episode of The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon.
“So, this EP is about my journey from my roots to where I am right now today,” the star said. “There’s a lot of Thai element[s] in the song, as well [as] in the EP.”
“Every single song, they have their own character, their own vibe,” she added. “When we combine it together, it’s like a movie. So you just press play.”
Press Play features six tracks, including the single “SaWaDiKa,” released earlier this month.
Lisa teased the other tracks on Tonight, telling host Jimmy Fallon that track four will be the EP’s next single and that the title begins with a “t.”
Press Play releases Oct. 23. In addition to the EP, Lisa is the subject of the documentary Always Lalisa, which releases in theaters and IMAX beginning Oct. 12.
