Sept. 10 (UPI) — Netflix is giving a glimpse of the new series Below.

The streaming service shared a trailer for the show Thursday featuring Josh Hartnett (Penny Dreadful, Trap).

Below is a thriller created, co-written and showrun by Jesse McKeown. Hartnett stars as Calvin Penney, a fisherman in a remote Newfoundland town who is haunted by his father’s death.

In the trailer, Calvin and other residents are terrorized by a unidentified sea creature after a mysterious iceberg shows up in the waters outside town.

Other cast members include Mackenzie Davis as Fonda Howander, a marine researcher, and Charlie Heaton (Stranger Things), Ruby Stokes and Rohan Campbell as Calvin’s children, Wade, Mary and Jay.

Below premieres Oct. 8 on Netflix.
