Aug. 20 (UPI) — Emmy-winning actor Steven Yeun has landed the lead in and serve as executive producer of Netflix’s Pagans.

Yeun is known for his roles in Beef, Minardi and The Walking Dead.

“Pagans follows a man who becomes the sole caretaker of his two children after the tragic loss of his wife,” the streaming service said in a press release Thursday.

“While his son is typical, his daughter, Alice, is anything but. What starts as a strained father-daughter relationship soon evolves into something far more sinister. Equal parts emotional, horrifying and humorous, Pagans is a show that unearths all our darkest thoughts about family.”

Joshua Zetumer — whose credits include Say Nothing, the 2014 version of Robocop and Patriots Day –is the show-runner.
