July 29 (UPI) — Employees at the Hersheypark theme park in Pennsylvania had to eject an unusual trespasser when a deer wandered into the facility without paying.

Witness Kimberly Hertz posted a video to Facebook showing workers at the theme park in Hersey tending to the fawn found resting next to a tree near a busy walkway.

The workers covered the deer’s head with a towel and carried it out of the park.

“The deer in the video was a wild fawn that appeared to be in distress and acting erratically near one of the employee entrances to Hersheypark,” Hershey Entertainment said in an email to PennLive.

“After the deer entered the park, our team secured the area, carefully removed the deer from the guest area, contacted the Pennsylvania Game Commission and followed their guidance in responding to the situation.”

The park said the deer’s visit did not cause any interruptions to normal park operations.
