July 9 (UPI) — Tracey Ullman and Jerome Flynn join Season 2 cast of FX and Hulu’s sci-fi drama, Alien: Earth.

Filming is now under way in London, but no premiere date has been announced yet.

Sam Spruell and Peter Dinklage will also co-star in the upcoming episodes, along with returning ensemble members Sydney Chandler, Alex Lawther, Timothy Olyphant, Essie Davis, Babou Ceesay, Samuel Blenkin, David Rysdahl and Moe Bar-El.

“When the mysterious deep space research vessel USCSS Maginot crash-lands on Earth, Wendy (Chandler) and a ragtag group of tactical soldiers make a fateful discovery that puts them face-to-face with the planet’s greatest threat,” a Season 1 synopsis said.

“In the year 2120, the Earth is governed by five corporations: Prodigy, Weyland-Yutani, Lynch, Dynamic and Threshold,” the summary added. “In this Corporate Era, cyborgs (humans with both biological and artificial parts) and synthetics (humanoid robots with artificial intelligence) exist alongside humans.”
