July 1 (UPI) — Award-winning actress Pamela Anderson is celebrating her 59th birthday.

While perhaps best known for her iconic role as C.J. Parker on Baywatch, Anderson has starred in a number of other TV shows and films throughout her career.

Here’s a list of five roles beyond Baywatch in honor of her birthday.

‘The Naked Gun’

The 2025 action comedy film is a sequel to the TV and film series starring late actor Leslie Nielsen as bumbling police detective Frank Drebin.

The movie follows Frank’s son Frank Drebin Jr. (Liam Neeson) as he investigates the death of software engineer Simon Davenport with the help of Simon’s sister Beth (Anderson).

The Naked Gun was well-received and won Best Comedy at the Critics’ Choice Awards.

Anderson discussed the film on Late Night in July 2025, saying she embraced the comedy and found it “so fun to be silly.”

The Naked Gun is available to stream on Prime Video, Paramount+ and MGM+.

‘The Last Showgirl’

Anderson won several awards and was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Actress for her dramatic turn as an aging Las Vegas showgirl in the 2024 film.

The Last Showgirl tells the story of Shelly (Anderson), a performer whose life is upended when the stage show she has performed in for 30 years is set to close and be replaced by a more modern revue.

Kiernan Shipka, Brenda Song, Billie Lourd, Dave Bautista and Jamie Lee Curtis also star in the film, directed by Gia Coppola (Palo Alto).

The Last Showgirl is available to stream on Hulu and Disney+.

‘V.I.P.’

Anderson had a starring role on the action-comedy series V.I.P., which had a four-season run from 1998 to 2002.

The show follows Vallery Irons (Anderson), a woman who is hired as the face of a real-life bodyguard agency after accidentally saving an action star. Molly Culver, Natalie Raitano, Angelle Brooks and Leah Lail also star.

V.I.P. gave Anderson a vehicle to flex her comedic chops and poke fun at her tabloid image.

The series is available to stream on Tubi.

‘Barb Wire’

The 1996 sci-fi action film stars Anderson as the Dark Horse Comics character of the same name.

While Anderson received a Golden Razzie for the role, the movie about a nightclub owner navigating a dystopian world ravaged by a second American Civil War has since become a cult classic.

Temuera Morrison, Victoria Rowell, Jack Noseworthy, Xander Berkeley, Udo Kier and Steve Railsback also star in the film, which is set in 2017.

Barb Wire is available to stream on Prime Video.

‘Home Improvement’

Anderson had a recurring role in Seasons 1 and 2 of the hit sitcom starring Tim Allen as Tim Taylor, a family man and the host of the fictional home improvement show called Tool Time.

Home Improvement cast Anderson as Lisa, the “Tool Time girl” who introduced and assisted Tim and his co-host Al (Richard Karn) on the show. Debbe Dunning later took over the role as the character Heidi.

Home Improvement marked Anderson’s first recurring TV role and is available to stream on Netflix, Hulu, Disney+ and Prime Video.
