June 22 (UPI) — A Tennessee woman stopped at an Ohio gas station en route to her family reunion and scored a $500,000 prize from a scratch-off lottery ticket.
The Nashville woman told Ohio Lottery officials she stopped at the S&G gas station on Fremont Pike in Perrysburg to fill up her tank on her way to her family reunion.
A $10 Ohio Lottery Bingo Times 50 scratch-off ticket caught her eye at checkout, so she bought one ans scratched it off, revealing a $500,000 prize.
The woman said she managed to keep her big win a secret at the family reunion, but she is planning to use some of her winnings to do something nice for her family. She said she is also hoping to take a vacation with her prize money.
