RB Leipzig forward Yan Diomande signals openness to a major move after links with Liverpool, while stressing contentment at the Bundesliga club. The 19-year-old attacker, under contract at Leipzig until 2030, states ambitions to reach “the highest level possible” following a standout 2025-26 campaign that has attracted attention from leading European sides.

Speaking to Kicker about this transfer talk, Diomande stresses commitment to Leipzig but does not close the door on a future switch to another elite team.
In the Kicker interview, Diomande explains the present situation and future aims. “I’m not thinking about that at the moment,” Diomande said. “I’m under contract in Leipzig and I enjoy playing here. But nobody knows what will happen after that. Everyone has ambitions, including me. My dream is to play at the highest level possible.”
Diomande produces 22 goal involvements across all competitions in 2025-26 for Leipzig, scoring 13 and supplying nine assists. Twenty of those contributions arrive in the Bundesliga, with 12 goals and eight assists, helping Ole Werner’s team secure third place. That end product supports the growing transfer noise surrounding the Ivory Coast international forward.
The winger also posts standout ball-carrying numbers in the Bundesliga. Diomande attempts 213 dribbles and completes 118, both league highs, while also leading for take-on ending carries with 104. Diomande records 32 carries leading to a created chance, and only Michael Olise, with eight goals and 10 assists, exceeds Diomande’s six goals and seven assists immediately after a carry.
