Sir David Beckham and Kylie Minogue were among a host of celebrities who took to Instagram to mark US Mother’s Day, sharing personal tributes to their mothers and partners.
The 51-year-old football icon posted a black and white photograph of his wife, Victoria Beckham, while she was pregnant, to his 86.6 million followers.
He described her as “the best mommy” to their four children – Romeo, Cruz, Harper, and eldest son Brooklyn, with whom they have an ongoing family feud. Victoria, also known as Posh Spice, reposted the image, adding: “I love you.”
She also shared a lavish bouquet of white roses on her Instagram story, featuring an American flag emoji to acknowledge the US holiday. Lady Beckham tagged her husband in the post, writing: “I love you so much.”
Australian pop superstar Kylie Minogue, with 3.3 million followers, shared a nostalgic throwback image of herself and her mother. The pair were pictured smiling, arm-in-arm, both sporting matching curly blonde hairstyles.

The chart-topping singer captioned her post: “happy Mother’s Day to the BEST” followed by a string of emojis.
German-American model Heidi Klum also joined in the celebrations, sharing a snap with her mother accompanied by a caption in German, “Ich liebe Dich Mutti”, which translates to “I love you mummy.”
Singer and dancer JoJo Siwa posted a lengthy tribute to her mother, Jessalynn, on Instagram, featuring a carousel of images.
Siwa wrote that there are “no words” to describe her mother, adding that she “continues to better me every single day, in every way possible.”
She continued: “I have her to thank for everything. She is the strongest and greatest person that I know. I couldn’t imagine a life without her being my mom. I’m lucky that I never have to. I love you more that you know, and I think I’m officially probably old enough to start stealing your saying and say it back to you: I love you no matter what.”
