Morocco have named Mohamed Ouahbi as head coach, ending Walid Regragui’s successful spell in charge. The change comes three months before the 2026 World Cup, after a period that included Morocco’s historic World Cup semi-final and a home Africa Cup of Nations final earlier this year.

Ouahbi steps up from leading Morocco’s under-23 side and now prepares for a demanding World Cup group.
