March 23 (UPI) — An Austrian man took his unusual party trick to a German TV series and broke the Guinness World Record for the most balloons passed through the nose and out the mouth in one minute.
Malte Dünser, the self-proclaimed “King of the Freaks” who amassed an Instagram following for his unusual stunts, attempted the balloon trick on the set of Guinness World Records’ TV series Die große Show der Weltrekorde in Munich.
Dünser threaded uninflated balloons through one of his nostrils and pulled them out of his mouth 10 times in one minute to break the record.
The amateur daredevil said he spent time experimenting with different types of balloons until he found the optimal brand and style for his record attempt. He said the balloons were lightly covered in oil for the attempt to make the nose insertion go smoother.
